Lim Mei Kuan is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Information Technology, Monash University Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Computer Vision from Universiti Malaya and has conducted post-doctoral research in Artificial Intelligence. Her career includes roles as a researcher at MIMOS Berhad (2004-2007) and visiting researcher at Kingston University (2012-2013).
Education:
- BSc (First Class Honours) in Computer Science, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (2007)
- PhD in Computer Vision, Universiti Malaya (2015)
Research Interests: Her work spans computer vision, machine learning, and their applications in smart manufacturing and digital health. Current projects include social media analytics for mental health monitoring, anomaly detection in manufacturing, and collaboration on clinical teletherapy systems. She actively explores swarm intelligence and deepfake detection technologies.
