Liliane Wong

Liliane Wong is a Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in the Interior Architecture department. Her work bridges architectural interventions, social activism, and sustainability through adaptive reuse. A graduate of Vassar College (BA) and Harvard Graduate School of Design (MArch), she cofounded the Int|AR Journal to promote sustainable design practices. Her teaching emphasizes public engagement, informed by her volunteer work at soup kitchens.

Wong’s research on curved space was funded by the Knit Space grant, and she practices architecture through Mahon Wong Associates and Boston-based firms. She serves on the advisory board of Blu Homes, integrating her expertise into the Modular, Demountable + Green studio.
