Liesbeth Kool

Liesbeth Kool is a Senior Lecturer and PhD student in the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Midwifery Academy Groningen. She holds roles as an educational scientist, teacher, and supervisor, focusing on midwifery education and professional development. Her research emphasizes midwives’ occupational wellbeing, transition into practice, and job demands/resources. Kool has contributed to studies on student midwives’ wellbeing, newly qualified midwives’ integration into practice, and factors influencing midwifery workforce retention.
