Lidija Đokić (born 1964) is a Full Professor at the Department of Architectural Technologies, Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. She completed her studies at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Architecture in 1988, received her master's degree at the University of Southern California, School of Architecture in Los Angeles in 1991, and earned her doctorate at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade in 2001.
Her primary research interests focus on lighting in architecture and architectural installations. She founded the course "Lighting in Architecture" at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade in 2003, significantly contributing to the curriculum. Her expertise extends to construction technology, installations, and building management.
Professor Đokić has published extensively in SCI-listed journals, international and national journals, and conference proceedings in the fields of architecture, installations, and lighting. She has also co-authored numerous commissioned lighting studies and has been active in scientific projects since 1991.
- Representative of the Serbian Lighting Committee in Group 5: Exterior Lighting and Other Applications of the International Commission on Illumination (CIE)
- Delivered invited lectures in Liege, Belgium (2007) and Istanbul, Turkey (2008)
As a designer, she has participated in architectural, installation, and lighting projects both domestically and internationally, contributing to award-winning competition entries. Her work bridges theoretical knowledge with practical application in the field of architectural lighting design.
