Licínio Chainho Pereira

Licínio Chainho Pereira is a Full Professor of Physics at the University of Minho since 1979, with a PhD in Molecular Physics from the University of Nottingham (1972) and a Chemical-Industrial Engineering degree from Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon (1959–1965). He served as Rector of the University of Minho from 1998 to 2002 and as Vice-Rector from 1983 to 1998. Since 2002, he has chaired the Executive Council of Portuguese Universities (FUP).
