Dr. Lianmei Jiang is an Honorary Research Fellow at Macquarie University's School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, affiliated with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics (CNBP). She holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from École Normale Supérieure de Paris (ENS-Paris), specializing in microfluidic biosensors for cell behavior monitoring. Previously, she conducted industry-academic research at bioMérieux and ESPCI ParisTech in France.
Her research integrates microfluidics, nanotechnology, and biomedicine, with focus areas including:
- Single-cell droplet microfluidics for precision analysis
- Microdroplet-based nano/microparticle functionalization
- Miniaturized sensing devices for biomarker detection
- Applications in cancer diagnostics and microbial research
Dr. Jiang's recent publications (2020-2022) demonstrate strong focus on microfluidic applications in oncology diagnostics, immunotherapy assessment, and single-cell analysis. Her work consistently bridges engineering innovation with clinical applications, particularly in developing non-invasive diagnostic tools.
