معرفی
Liang Liang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at Yale School of Medicine. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Tsinghua University, followed by an M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University. Her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School focused on retinal axon function in mice. Her research explores visual thalamic circuitry and information processing using in vivo imaging, genetics, and computational methods.
- Education: B.S. Tsinghua University (2006), M.S./Ph.D. Stanford University (2013)
- Affiliations: Wu Tsai Institute, Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program
Research interests include visual system computation, thalamic circuitry, and neuromodulation. Key projects investigate how visual information is selectively processed and transmitted through the thalamus to the cortex. Recent articles highlight mechanisms of axonal connectivity and arousal-driven thalamic gating of retinal inputs.
- Awards: Lawrence Young Investigator Award, Whitehall Foundation Grant, Kavli Award
- Laboratory: Liang Lab focuses on retino-thalamo-cortical pathways and synaptic organization
