Liana Langdon-Embry

Liana Langdon-Embry, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMass Chan – Baystate Regional Campus. Her work bridges clinical medicine with advanced imaging analytics and oncology research. She holds a BA in Health Science from Brandeis University and an MD from Stony Brook School of Medicine.

Her research focuses on medical imaging innovations, particularly in pancreatic cancer diagnostics and treatment response assessment. Notable areas include radiomics, AI-driven diagnostic tools, and image-based biomarkers for oncological outcomes. She has contributed to studies on CT imaging for pancreatic neoplasms and pandemic-related healthcare workforce experiences during the COVID-19 crisis.
