Liam Paul Benison-Dep is a Temporary Assistant Professor in the Department of Cultures and Civilizations at the University of Verona. He holds a joint PhD from the University of Porto and University of Kent (2020), and has conducted postdoctoral research in utopian studies at CETAPS (University of Porto). His current research project, 'Privutopia,' investigates privacy concepts in early modern Europe through utopian texts and maps.

Teaching: He teaches 'Digital Librarianship' in the Bachelor's program for Languages and Literatures for Publishing and Digital Media. His courses focus on modern library practices and digital heritage management.
Research Contributions: Published an article in KNOW: A Journal on the Formation of Knowledge (2023) and edited Utopian Possibilities: Models, Theories, Critiques (U.Porto Press, 2023). Affiliated with the Centre for Privacy Studies (University of Copenhagen) and contributes to interdisciplinary projects on cultural history.
