Liam B. Murphy

Liam B. Murphy is the Herbert Peterfreund Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy at New York University School of Law. His work bridges legal, moral, and political philosophy, addressing topics ranging from contract law theory to taxation policy. He served as Vice Dean of NYU School of Law from 2007 to 2010 and holds fellowships from prestigious institutions like Columbia’s Society of Fellows in the Humanities and the National Humanities Center.
