Li Run

Li Run is an Assistant Professor at the School of Business, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, since February 2023. His research focuses on Microeconomic Theory, Game Theory, and Information Economics, with applications in strategic information disclosure and signaling models.

• PhD in Economics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2021)
• MPhil in Economics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2017)
• BSc in Economics from Nanjing University (2013)

His work addresses mechanisms for information disclosure, strategic reporting, and multidimensional information acquisition. Recent publications in Economics Letters explore expertise signaling and empty talk games.

Scientific awards include:

• National Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling First Prize (2011)
• PhD and MPhil scholarships at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2017-2021, 2015-2017)
• Research Travel Grant (2019) and Outstanding Graduate Student Scholarship at Nanjing University

At SUSTech, he teaches Game Theory and its Applications (graduate level) and Macroeconomics (undergraduate level).
