Li Jiangyu is Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Previously, he was a tenured full professor and Associate Dean for Research at the University of Washington. His research focuses on scanning probe methods, functional materials, and nanoscale devices, contributing to internationally recognized advancements in materials science.
Research Interests: Professor Li specializes in the development and application of scanning probe techniques for functional materials, with emphasis on nanotechnology-enabled devices. His work bridges experimental materials science and applied physics, particularly in energy and electronic materials.
