معرفی
Leyla Ade is a Researcher and PhD student at the University of Bayreuth's Faculty of Cultural Studies under the Chair of Philosophy I. She holds a Master's degree from the Institute of Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) in Amsterdam, where she focused on mathematical logic and completed a thesis on Iterative Goal-Based Voting. Her research interests center on Game Theory, Collective Decision-Making, and Voting Systems, with a particular emphasis on team reasoning and liquid democracy mechanisms.
Education:
- Bachelor's in Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of Heidelberg
- Master's in Mathematical Logic at ILLC, University of Amsterdam
Research Focus:
Ade explores how evolutionary perspectives can inform categorization models in collective decision-making, as seen in her 2023 work on team reasoning. Her work also bridges computer science and political theory through investigations into proportional voting systems in liquid democracy frameworks. Methodologically, she combines formal logic with empirical social science approaches.
Labs/Teams:
Part of the Chair of Philosophy I research group at University of Bayreuth, collaborating on interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of logic, game theory, and social choice theory.
