Davide Grossi is a Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. He is also an Associate Professor at the University of Amsterdam with affiliations to the Amsterdam Center for Law and Economics (ACLE) and Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC).
His research focuses on multi-agent systems, decision-making, game theory, social choice theory, and argumentation. Recent work includes analysis of public goods games, case-based reasoning, and hybrid intelligence teams, as well as contributions to digital democracy and blockchain sustainability.
His scientific awards include a Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS) Fellowship (2022-2023). He leads the Collective Decisions & Computation Lab and co-leads the Democratic Innovations Lab at the University of Groningen's School for Sustainable Development.
