معرفی
Lewis Hill is a Researcher at the University of Strathclyde, specializing in nonlinear optics and photonics. He contributed to the EPSRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnership (2016–2017) as a Research Co-investigator, focusing on projects involving Kerr resonators and symmetry-breaking phenomena. His research interests include optical solitons, microresonators, and light-matter interactions.
Research Highlights:
- Developed methodologies for real-time imaging of standing-wave patterns in microresonators.
- Explored spontaneous symmetry breaking in dissipative optical systems.
- Contributed to the creation of vectorial Kerr frequency combs via Fabry-Pérot resonators.
Awards & Recognition:
- Recipient of the Strathclyde Team Medal (2022) for collaborative research excellence.
Activities:
- Organized the StrathWide 2023 and 2022 Researcher conferences, serving as a Chair.
- Supervised datasets on Kerr oscillations and symmetry-breaking phenomena in microresonators.
