Dr. Levent U. Gokdere is a Lecturer and Research Scientist in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Houston's Cullen College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (1996), and earlier degrees from Istanbul Technical University. With over 15 years of industrial experience in motor drives, power electronics, and controls, his research focuses on motor drives, power electronics, and electric machines. He joined UH in 2017 after a career in industry and academic research roles.
