Prof. Dr. Levent Tezcan is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Münster, specializing in the social-scientific study of Islam in 20th and 21st century Europe. He holds academic affiliations with the Cluster of Excellence 'Religion and Politics' and has held roles at institutions like Tilburg University (Netherlands) and Bielefeld University. His research focuses on migration studies, racism, Islam in Europe, and Turkish politics. He teaches courses on social structure, culture, and qualitative methods.
