Leticia Pérez is a Professor and Coordinator of the Post Graduate Studies Program in Museology at the National School of Conservation, Restoration and Museography of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) in México.
She obtained her Masters Degree in Museology from the same institution where she currently teaches. Her academic career has focused on the intersection of museum studies, cultural reception, and international exhibition practices.
Dr. Pérez's research interests primarily center on Visitor Studies and International Exhibitions, with particular emphasis on how international audiences receive and appreciate displays of Mexican culture. Her work bridges theoretical museology with practical applications in cross-cultural exhibition design and audience evaluation.
Throughout her career, she has held significant positions including Coordinator of Visitor Studies at the Interactive Museum of Economy (MIDE) in Mexico City and Sub-director of International Exhibitions at INAH's National Museum Coordination. She has extensive experience in organizing and planning international-scale exhibition projects across numerous countries.
Dr. Pérez has shared her expertise through numerous talks and conferences in Mexico and internationally, including teaching a course for the Programa de Posgraduación Interunidades en Museología at the University of Sao Paulo, Brasil. She also collaborated with the Ibermuseos Program during an internship at Spain's Ministerio de Cultura, contributing to the implementation of the Observatorio Iberoamericano de Museos.
