Lesley Devine, PhD is a Technical Director at the Yale Flow Core Facility and Scientific Director of the Cancer Center Immune Monitoring Laboratory at Yale School of Medicine. She holds a PhD in Immunology from University College (1995) and a BS in Biochemistry & Immunology from the University of Strathclyde (1991). Her research focuses on immune system mechanisms, cancer biology, and medical laboratory science, with particular expertise in CD8 receptor biology, immune monitoring, and translational research in oncology. She has authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles, including seminal work on CD8-MHC interactions and immune profiling in cancer therapies. Dr. Devine leads core facilities supporting flow cytometry and immune monitoring for Yale's research community.
Her recent work includes quantitative DNA repair biomarker studies in colorectal cancer (2023), metabolomic analysis of influenza vaccine responses (2022), and immunological markers in sickle cell disease (2018). She collaborates frequently with oncologists, immunologists, and data scientists at Yale to advance precision medicine and immune-based therapies. Dr. Devine's labs provide cutting-edge technical resources for multidisciplinary research teams across Yale Medicine.
