Leopold Haimberger

Leopold Haimberger is a Professor at the University of Vienna, affiliated with the Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics under the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Astronomy. He has been actively involved in teaching courses such as Climate Dynamics and Diagnostics, Data Assimilation and Ensemble Methods, and Scientific Communication. His research focuses on atmospheric general circulation diagnostics, radiosonde data homogenization, and numerical weather prediction, with significant projects including Arctic energy budget analysis and European climate reanalysis initiatives.
