Prof. Dr. paed. Leonīds Čupriks serves as Professor and Academic Staff in the Department of Sports Theory at the Latvian Academy of Sport Education, Rīga Stradiņš University. His office is located in Room 136, Building A, 1st floor at 333 Brīvības gatve, Riga.
Professor Čupriks specializes in strength sports disciplines with expertise spanning multiple areas of physical training methodology. His research focuses on practical applications of sports theory in competitive strength disciplines.
He teaches specialized courses including:
- Professional Development Qualification (PDQ) in bodybuilding, weightlifting, and powerlifting
- Training theory and pedagogical development (TTPP) covering bodybuilding, fitness, powerlifting, weightlifting, and arm wrestling
- Athletic training programs
The Latvian Academy of Sport Education, where Professor Čupriks works, has celebrated 104 years of operation and forms an integral part of Rīga Stradiņš University's academic structure, which recently marked its 75th anniversary.
