Leontia Flynn is a Professor in the School of Arts, English and Languages at Queen's University Belfast. She specializes in poetry, creative writing, and feminist literary theory. Her work explores form, inspiration, technology, and maternal themes. She holds a Master’s in writing and cultural politics and has been awarded prestigious honors including the Forward Prize and the Cholmondeley Prize. She teaches modules like Form in Poetry and supervises PhD students in creative writing. Her publications include five poetry collections and critical essays. She actively engages in literary festivals, radio broadcasts, and editorial roles, including editing The Yellow Nib.
