Leonore van den Ende

Dr. Leonore van den Ende is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with affiliations to the Amsterdam Sustainability Institute, Network Institute, and OPOS (Organization & Processes of Organizing in Society). Her research focuses on organizational anthropology, emphasizing qualitative and ethnographic methods to study complex organizational settings, with special interests in practices, materials, spaces, and stories shaping organizational change, collaboration, and sustainability.

Her work explores themes such as interorganizational projects, co-creation processes, and the role of rituals in strategic management. She has contributed to understanding power dynamics in strategic projects and the socio-material dimensions of organizational spaces. Key projects include 'EXTRA: Transformative Methodologies' and 'Circular Collaboration,' addressing systemic change and sustainable innovation.
