Leonie Selk

Dr. Leonie Selk is a permanent lecturer and researcher at the University of Hamburg's Department of Mathematics, specializing in Mathematical Statistics and Stochastic Processes. She holds a Diplom in Mathematics from the University of Hamburg (2007) and a PhD in Mathematics under Prof. Natalie Neumeyer (2011). Her research focuses on nonparametric statistics, change point analysis, functional data, and regression models. She has held postdoc positions at Helmut Schmidt University and the University of Hamburg, and has conducted research stays at institutions like the University of Edinburgh and Charles University in Prague. Her teaching includes courses on mathematical statistics, time series analysis, and applied data science at various universities, including UHH, HSU, and Leuphana Universität Lüneburg.
