Leonid Trofimov is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of History at Queen's University, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Science. His research focuses on Russia's international relations, Soviet-American interactions, and European history. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago (2004) and a university degree from Novosibirsk State University.
His research explores Russia’s global engagements, including Soviet reporters at the Nuremberg Trials and the Russian Revolution’s global impact. He has published works like Seven Myths of the Russian Revolution (2023) and edited documentary collections on Russia in war and revolution.
