Leonid Pogorelyuk

Leonid Pogorelyuk is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He joined RPI in 2023 after working as a Research Scientist at the Space Telecommunication Astronomy and Radiation (STAR) Lab at MIT. His research focuses on control systems, information theory, orbital mechanics, optics, and astronomy.

His expertise bridges theoretical frameworks with practical engineering solutions for space exploration and telecommunications.
