Leonhard Reindl

Prof. Dr. Leonhard Reindl is a full Professor and Head of the Professorship for Electrical Measurement and Testing at the Institute of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK), Faculty of Engineering, University of Freiburg. He also serves as Director of the Center for Renewable Energies (ZEE) and previously directed IMTEK from 2014 to 2016.

He earned his diploma in Technical Physics from the Technical University of Munich and completed his doctorate at the Vienna University of Technology, focusing on analog real-time computing. With over 10 years of industrial R&D experience at Siemens AG, he pioneered research in radio identification and sensor technology.
