Leonardo Lozano

Leonardo Lozano is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He joined the department in Fall 2016, teaching foundational courses such as Introduction to Kinesiology and Essentials of Personal Training. As the academic advisor for the Kinesiology Club, he actively supports student engagement in the field.

Lozano’s research interests include Biomechanics, Sports Psychology, and Exercise Science, with a focus on motor control and neuromuscular adaptation. His 2010 publication on external focus in kinesiology highlights his expertise in enhancing athletic performance through biomechanical analysis.
