Dr. Jessica J. Savage is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Lewis-Clark State College, affiliated with the Physical, Life, Movement & Sport Sciences Division. She joined the faculty in 2013 and teaches courses such as Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, and Strength Development. Her research focuses on neuromuscular deficits and ACL injury risk in females.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Lewis-Clark State College (2009)
- Master of Exercise Science in Biomechanics, Eastern Washington University (2012)
- Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (NSCA, 2012)
- Doctor of Philosophy in Biomechanics, University of Idaho (2018)
- Doctor of Philosophy in Education, University of Idaho (2018)
Research Interests: Dr. Savage’s work addresses biomechanical factors contributing to ACL injuries in female athletes. Her studies explore neuromuscular control, biomechanical analysis, and preventive strategies to reduce injury risk. This research combines clinical applications with运动科学理论.
While no specific awards or grants are listed, her teaching spans foundational and advanced topics in kinesiology, including community health and sport physiology. She actively contributes to curricula in biomechanics and exercise science.
