Dr. Leonard Arvi is a Professor of Finance and Chairperson of the Department of Finance at Salisbury University. He holds a PhD (2008) and MS (2003) in Finance from Florida International University. His expertise spans investments, real estate finance, alternative investments, risk management, and financial literacy advocacy.
He has received notable awards including the 2020 SU Alumni Faculty Appreciation Award and the 2014 Maryland Regents' Mentoring Excellence Award. Beyond academia, Arvi is a serial entrepreneur and active community leader, serving on boards such as Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore and the City of Salisbury Sustainability Committee. He also volunteers with Wicomico Public Schools, YMCA, and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
