Dr. Leona Skelton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities at Northumbria University. Her research focuses on historical environmental regulation, water sustainability, and the environmental history of industrial processes. She has led major interdisciplinary projects funded by the AHRC and EPSRC, including the 'Past Floods Matter' initiative on flood mitigation and the 'TWENTY65' water sustainability project.
