Leo Kiralla is a Tenured Full Professor in the Psychology Department at Bellevue College with over 20 years of teaching experience and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. He is also a licensed therapist in Washington State, integrating clinical practice from settings including the VA, community mental health, neuropsychological testing, and private practice into his academic work.
His educational background includes:

Dr. Kiralla's research emphasizes twin studies, hermeneutics, intersubjectivity, narrative psychology, psychological assessment, mindfulness, Buddhist psychology, and pedagogy. His teaching focuses on experiential learning in Introduction to Psychology and Psych 220, frequently incorporating mindfulness and dharma principles.
