Jaume Pomar Pons

Jaume Pomar Pons is an Associate Professor in Psychobiology at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). He is a licensed General Health Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist accredited by the General College of Psychology of Spain, with a degree in Psychology, a Master's in Neuroscience, and a University Expert in Neuropsychology.

His research and clinical work focus on neuropsychological disorders across neurodevelopmental, adult, and aging populations, including traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, ADHD, dyslexia, and other cognitive conditions. He actively collaborates in clinical trials such as the DEXCON TBI trial and Vas203/iiii1/04 study.

He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses at UIB, including "Fundamentos de Psicobiología" (Psychobiology Foundations) and "Neuropsychological Intervention and Rehabilitation in Chronic Patients." He also tutors internships for Clinical Neuropsychology and General Health Psychology programs through agreements with multiple universities.

Professional affiliations include membership in scientific societies like the Official College of Psychologists of the Balearic Islands (COPIB), Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN), Health Psychology Division (PsiS), and Clinical Neuropsychology Division (NPsiC). He co-founded and coordinated the Neuropsychology Working Group at COPIB from 2015 to 2021.

Jaume operates the Neuropsychology Center Intelecta Neuro (health registration #3724) in Mallorca, specializing in cognitive evaluation and intervention for neurodevelopmental, adult, and geriatric populations. He is a member of the NeuroCog research group under IUNICS and IdisBA institutes.
