Lennart Sauer is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work at Umeå University in Sweden. His research qualifications include the title of Docent. His work focuses on disability studies, social work education, and the intersection of intellectual disabilities with societal structures. He has presented at major conferences such as the Arctic Congress 2024 and published extensively on topics like pedagogical challenges in rural social work education and the experiences of professionals working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
