Lennart Ritz, M.A., is a research assistant (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the Chair of Cultural Musicology at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. He holds a Master's degree in Musicology and Cultural Anthropology, completed in 2019 with a thesis on Dub and Soundsystem Culture in Kassel. His current research focuses on historical collections of recordings from the Berliner Phonogram Archiv.

Ritz has taught courses like Sound Studies I (2023/24), analyzing urban soundscapes through Kassel Acoustic Citymaps, and Analyse von Musik II (2023), focusing on music analysis. His work intersects cultural theory, media history, and auditory urban studies.
Publications include the 2018 working paper Brexit as a Conjuncture (co-authored with Anzhalika Yeraminovich and Vasileios Zaritas), applying cultural analysis to political phenomena. He also provides academic advising for M.A. Musicology students.
