Lene Nordrum serves as an Associate Professor in English Linguistics at Lund University's Centre for Languages and Literature (SOL) within the Faculty of Humanities and Theology. Her institutional roles include Coordinator for English courses for university staff and for commissioned education at the Centre for Languages and Literature.

Her primary interests include English for Specific Purposes (particularly in academic contexts), multimodal communication analysis, contrastive linguistics comparing English with Scandinavian languages, and systemic functional linguistics.
