Lena A. Hübner is a FRQSC postdoctoral fellow (2022-2024) at McGill University's Department of Art History and Communication Studies under Dr. Carrie Rentschler. Her research focuses on cyberviolence's impact on underprivileged racialized women's online practices in Quebec, digital feminist activism against sexualized violence, and critical analyses of whiteness in academia.
She holds a PhD in Communication Studies from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Her work bridges digital media studies, feminist theory, and critical race studies, examining intersections of technology, gender, and systemic inequality.
Her notable contribution includes co-authoring an article in Terminal analyzing the #StopRapeCulture movement on social media platforms. While no formal grants or student advisement are documented here, her research highlights urgent sociopolitical issues in digital spaces.
