Leiser Silva is a Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate and Professional Programs at the C. T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and has extensive experience in academia across multiple continents. His research focuses on power dynamics in information systems adoption, public sector technology implementation, and strategic IT alignment. Silva teaches core Management of Information Systems (MIS) courses to MBA students and has published in leading journals like MIS Quarterly and Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS). His work bridges organizational politics, institutional theory, and technological innovation.
Educational Background: Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Information Systems from London School of Economics; B.Sc. in Computer Sciences from Universidad del Valle, Guatemala.
