Leila Riley serves as Assistant Professor of Sport Management in the Department of Sport Management and Recreation within the School of Physical Education, Performance and Sport Leadership at Springfield College, having joined after teaching positions at Idaho State University and the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.

- Doctor of Kinesiology - Sport Management from University of Minnesota - Twin Cities
- Master of Physical Education in Athletic Administration from Idaho State University
- Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health from University of Idaho
Riley's research centers on gender equity and developmental relationships (mentorship) in sport organizations, with critical examination of leadership structures.
