Robert Sipes

Robert Sipes is a Professor and Program Director of the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, within the School of Nursing and Health Professions and the Department of Kinesiology. He holds a Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction and is a certified athletic trainer with extensive experience in sports medicine research and education.

His educational background includes:

• BA in Mathematics and Athletic Training from Judson College
• MS in Kinesiology from California State University
• EdD in Curriculum & Instruction (Post-Secondary Education) from Illinois State University

Dr. Sipes' research focuses on athletic training, sports medicine, and kinesiology, with particular interest in injury prevention, shoulder rehabilitation, and baseball biomechanics. His work addresses critical issues in youth and collegiate sports, including the effects of equipment on injury rates and the efficacy of stretching techniques for overhead athletes.
