Leidulf Melve is a Professor of History at the University of Bergen (UiB), affiliated with the Department of Archaeology, History, Cultural Studies and Religion. His research focuses on medieval history, historiography, communication in the Middle Ages, Scandinavian history, and legal history. He has presented at numerous international conferences, including events in Norway, the United States, and the Czech Republic.
