Dr. Lee S. McDaniel is an Assistant Professor (tenured) in the Department of Biostatistics & Data Science at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2014), an MS in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary (2008), and a BS in Mathematics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (2006), with a supporting emphasis in Economics.
His research focuses on biostatistical methodologies applied to clinical trials, survival analysis, and medical data visualization. Key areas include neuroinflammation in HIV/AIDS research, surgical outcomes in head and neck cancer, and predictive modeling for respiratory conditions like laryngotracheal stenosis.
