Lee Martin is a College of Arts & Sciences Distinguished Professor at Ohio State University and faculty in Vermont College of Fine Arts' MFA program. Pulitzer Prize finalist for novel The Bright Forever with forthcoming novel The Evening Shades (2025).

- Autobiographical fiction techniques
- Thresholds between truth and fiction
- Rural American experiences
Awards include National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and Ohio Arts Council Fellowship. Teaches fiction and creative nonfiction writing.
