Dr. Lee Ann Lindquist serves as Chief of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine and holds the position of George M. Eisenberg Research Professor of Geriatric Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is a prominent geriatrician whose work spans clinical care, research, and leadership in the field of aging and elder care.
Dr. Lindquist's educational background includes:

Her research focuses on helping older adults age-in-place through home and community-based resources, particularly for those developing Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Lindquist has extensive experience partnering with community organizations for research implementation and dissemination. She is Principal Investigator on three Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) funded awards, including the development of PlanYourLifespan.org, a web-based tool that connects older adults to home and community-based services. Her research also includes developing an AI-based negotiations curriculum for caregivers and measuring social networks of caregiver support.
Dr. Lindquist's research portfolio includes three R01 level grants from the National Institute on Aging (NIA), an R21 from NIA examining cognition loss after hospital discharge, and an R21 from AHRQ assessing how family caregivers use electronic health records portals. Her work has reached over 300,000 community users nationally through PlanYourLifespan.org.

She is also Medical Director of the Clare at Watertower, a CMS 5-star Continuing Care Retirement Community. Her professional leadership includes membership on the American Geriatrics Society - Health System and Technology Committee, Society of General Internal Medicine committees, and editorial board service for the Journal of General Internal Medicine.
