Lecchi Marzia

Dr. Marzia Lecchi is an Assistant Professor in Physiology at the University of Milano-Bicocca's Department of Biotechnology and Biosciences, where she leads the Lecchi Lab (#LecchiLab_BtBs). Her research program integrates nanomedicine, neurobiology, and regenerative medicine, with specialized focus on thermal stimulation techniques for neuronal differentiation and neurodegenerative disease applications.

Primary research domains include:

• Nanomedicine and Biomaterials design
• Pathophysiology of Neurodegenerative and Neurological Disorders
• Stem cell-based Regenerative Medicine strategies

Her laboratory employs advanced methodologies such as nanoparticle engineering, electrophysiological monitoring, and neurite outgrowth analysis. Current work centers on a major project investigating thermal stimulation mechanisms for neuronal development, aiming to establish novel therapeutic platforms.
