Leandro Pecchia

Leandro Pecchia is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Warwick, UK, and Director of the Applied Biomedical Signal Processing and Intelligent eHealth Lab. He holds leadership roles in global organizations such as President of the European Alliance of Medical and Biological Engineering and Science (EAMBES) and Secretary General of the International Union for Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine (IUPESM). He earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Management of Healthcare Services from the University of Naples Federico II in 2009. His research focuses on AI-driven healthcare technologies, medical device regulation, telemedicine, and HTA, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications.
