Leah Warner is a Professor of Psychology at Ramapo College of New Jersey, affiliated with the School of Social Science and Human Services. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and Women’s Studies from The Pennsylvania State University and a B.S. in Psychology and Hispanic Studies from Vassar College.
Her research focuses on intersectionality’s application in psychology, bridging feminist, anti-racist, and postcolonial critiques with scientific methodologies. She has pioneered the WAGES (Workshop Activity for Gender Equity Simulation) program, an experiential learning tool addressing gender bias. Her teaching emphasizes social justice through constructive dialogue and activism, earning her the 2022 SPSSI Action Teaching Award and 2019 SPSSI Teaching Innovation Award.
