Leah Lowthorp is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Oregon. She holds a dual degree in Folklore and Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, with a dissertation titled Scenarios of Endangered Culture, Shifting Cosmopolitanisms: Kutiyattam and UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in Kerala, India.
