Prof. Dr. Heike Oberlin Moser is the Head of the Department of Indology at the University of Tübingen and an Associate Professor specializing in South Asian studies. She holds leadership roles including Deputy University Equal Opportunities Officer and board member of the German University Association (DHV). Her research focuses on the Sanskrit theatre Kūṭiyāṭṭam, Malayalam language, and digital humanities projects such as the Hermann Gundert Portal. She has established the Gundert Chair for Malayalam and collaborates internationally on cultural preservation.
