Leah Haught

Leah Haught is a Professor of English and Coordinator for the Publishing and Editing Certificate at the University of West Georgia, affiliated with the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Her academic and administrative roles emphasize literature, gender studies, and editorial practices.

• B.A. in English and History from Colgate University (2003)
• M.A. and Ph.D. in English from the University of Rochester (2008, 2011)

Her research interests span English literature, gender studies, film analysis, and medieval themes, particularly evident in courses like World Lit: Aesthetics of War, Gender and Rage, and Arthurian Literature. She also integrates technology into editorial workflows through courses like Technology for Editors/Writers.
